The Montana Department of Labor and Industry is providing free safety training during its first-ever SafetyFest in Lewistown March 10-12 at the Yogo Inn.
There are more than 30 classes to choose from. Topics include First Aid/CPR/AED, OSHA 10-hour cards for construction and general industry; Work Comp 101, HAZWOPER 8-hour refresher; violence in the workplace; cyber safety; profiting from safety and more.

Internationally renowned horseman Buck Brannaman will lead a clinic Monday, Feb. 16, from noon to 3 p.m. at MSU’s Miller Pavilion, off West Garfield Street just west of 19th Avenue.
Members of the public are invited to attend as spectators. Tickets for spectators are $20, or $10 for current students with student identification, and they will be available for purchase at the pavilion on the day of the event only. Proceeds from the event benefit MSU’s equine science program.
