It’s a burger that makes both Ozzy Osbourne and a top online business magazine proud.

A specialty at The Burger Dive in downtown Billings was named best burger in Montana by New York-based Business Insider, which conducted a survey of the best in each state for National Hamburger Month in May.

The top offering at The Burger Dive? The Blackened Sabbath, an homage to rock-metal legend Osbourne.

“I’m a massive fan of the band (Black Sabbath). So any opportunity to use that name, I take it,” Burger Dive owner Brad Halston said with a laugh.

The burger is blackened and topped with bacon, a crispy onion ring, blue cheese and garlic basil mayo. A similar burger won the Food Network’s Best of the Bash contest in February in Florida, Halsten said.

The Burger Dive will celebrate four years in business this September at 114 N. 27th St.
