STANLEY, N.D. — An Arkansas man working in the western North Dakota oil patch has been killed on the job.

Stanley Police Chief Kris Halvorson said 51-year-old Alan Eberhard of Harrisburg, Ark., died at a hospital after an incident at Dalton Logistics on Tuesday.

Halvorson says Eberhard was working on a payloader hose when the forklift on the machine collapsed, pinning him.

Eberhard's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
