Bruce Brumley, instructor of computer technology at City College, was recently recognized by Cisco Networking Academy for 20 years of active participation and service.
In addition to serving 20 years as a Cisco Networking Academy instructor, Brumley was acknowledged for 25 years of service at MSUB during the annual Faculty Excellence Awards on March 22. He also received an ASM SUB Outstanding Faculty Award during this year’s ceremony.
Brumley has gained prominent status through Cisco, as he was named the top Cisco Networking Academy Instructor of North America.
In addition to these recent achievements, Brumley was presented with a Faculty Excellence Award for his many accomplishments in teaching, service, and scholarly activities during last year’s awards.
Brumley has served as chair for the Academic Senate, as well as on the Chancellor’s Cabinet, Executive Budget Committee and University Budget Committee.
