Phillips receives Society for Range Management Award

Bureau of Land Management Assistant Field Manager Mike Phillips has received the prestigious Trail Boss Award from the Society for Range Management. The award recognizes Phillips for his outstanding, long-term contributions and promotion of the art and science of range management. Phillips, who has worked at the BLM’s Worland Field Office since 2007, also served as a rangeland management specialist in the BLM Casper Field Office for more than 16 years. He received the Friend of Agriculture Award from the Wyoming Department of Agriculture in 2010 and the Outstanding Range Professional Award from the Wyoming Stock Growers Association in 2002.
