Sanderson Stewart, a regional engineering, planning and community development services firm, has promoted two in its Billings office.

Tim Pirtz, PE, associate principal, has been promoted to the position of branch manager of the firm’s Williston, N.D., office. Pirtz currently manages the Williston Group, the staff and resources in the firm’s Billings office devoted to serving projects and clients in North Dakota and Eastern Montana. Pirtz will now oversee all of the firm’s operations related to North Dakota and Eastern Montana. Pirtz has been with Sanderson Stewart for more than 15 years and has nearly 25 years experience in land development and municipal engineering.

Chris Kosine, staff surveyor, has been promoted to the position of Williston survey manager. He will manage the firm’s land surveying operations for projects and clients in North Dakota and Eastern Montana. Kosine has 10 years of experience in land surveying and CADD drafting. Kosine holds an associates of applied science degree in surveying from Sheridan College in Wyoming and a Certificate of Survey from the University of Wyoming.
