John M. Van Atta has joined the firm of Patten, Peterman, Bekkedahl & Green, PLLC. Van Atta graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula in 2005 and from the University of California Hastings College of Law in San Francisco in 2008. He previously interned with the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, the California attorney general’s office, the U.S. attorney general’s office and the Montana Supreme Court. He worked as a financial adviser for the RBC Wealth management alongside his father prior to transitioning back to law. Van Atta's areas of practice include business and real estate law, commercial litigation, employment law, estate planning and probate. He may be reached at jvanatta@ppbglaw.com or 252-8500.
