The horses and riders of the Rocky Mountain College Equestrian Program will present their annual Winter Drill at 1  p.m. Friday, Dec.r 7. Open to the public, the event is. at the Intermountain Equestrian Center, 7256 U.S. Highway 3.

The themes of the event are: "Christmas," “Can-Can Dancers,” “Cops and Robbers” and “Superheroes and Supervillains.” Students and horses, attired in costumes, will perform entertaining drill routines that showcases their equestrian skills.

Each riding class presents its own theme and drill routine. Complete with four jumps and 12 riders, the hunters jumping class will maneuver through obstacles themed in red and white for the “Holidays.”

“Superheroes and Supervillains,” will be performed by the freshman class. The advanced training horses will be “Cops and Robbers.” The colt breaking class will be “Can-Can Dancers,” riding to the likes of the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.
