The Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame has scheduled its annual banquet fundraiser at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Center on Jan. 27.

Registration starts at 2 p.m. and the banquet begins at 5 p.m.  This year the Hall of Fame welcomes VIP pro rodeo legends Roy “Super Looper” Cooper, an eight-time world champion, and Monty “Hawkeye” Henson, a three-time world champion bronc rider. Guests can get their autographs or have their picture taken with them.

Also, on Saturday morning, in the Radisson atrium from 11 a.m. til 2 p.m., Hensen and CooperRoy and Monty will put on tie-down roping and saddle bronc riding ground schools for kids 14 years and up, compliments of the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.

“It’s a great honor to be part of this event, and I’m thrilled to impart my knowledge in Saddle Bronc Riding to the next generation during our school,” Henson said.

RFD TV’s “Special Cowboy Moments” show will be  filming and interviewing the rodeo legends and ranch family award recipients for their program. The Hall of Fame honors great Montana rodeo legends and raises scholarships for Montana high school rodeo participants. President Bill Williams points out “Over the last 13 years we’ve awarded over $400,000 in scholarships for the kids, and we’re tremendously proud of that."
