The Billings Senior High Drama Department presents "Stand Up," a play written by playwright and Senior High government teacher, Ryan Gage.

Ryan Gage speaks at the "Not in our Town" town hall at Billings Public Library in Billings in 2014. 'Stand Up," a play by Gage, a government teacher at Billings Senior High, will be performed March 2 in the Senior High auditorium.

The play was recently performed in Missoula at the Montana Thespian Convention, and is a benefit for the Senior High Drama Department. The play will be performed March 2 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are $5.

"In the words of musician Ani DiFranco, 'I know there is strength in the differences between us. I know there is comfort where we overlap,'" Gage said. "I hope you enjoy 'Stand Up' from an entertainment perspective. However, more importantly, I hope it generates genuine intrapersonal reflection as well as meaningful interpersonal discussions about who we are, our place in society, and how we view and treat others."
