The Rimrock Opera Company is presenting two Opera Festival performances on June 18 and June 25.

The June 18 show begins at 7:30 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 1810 Shiloh Road.

The program is a mix of Broadway and opera favorites.

On June 25, the show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Babcock Theater, 2812 Second Ave. N. The program repeats and features a peformance with ROCK (Rimrock Opera Chorus for Kids).

Tickets are $20 for either show and are available at the door of both venues. Call 671-2214 for more information.

ROC Artistic Director Doug Nagel said the festival will feature cuttings from some of the most beloved operas and Broadway’s hottest new tickets.

This includes showstoppers from “The Next Five Years,” “Wicked” and “Showboat” as well as operas “Hansel and Gretel,” “Porgy and Bess” and “Rigoletto.”

Special guest is Brianne Roney, second-place winner of the Regional Metropolitan Opera Auditions. ROC performing artists include Kristy Dallas, Jeffrey Kitto, Lisa Lombardy, Doug Nagel, Mary Ryan and William Mouat. Noted pianist Ashlee Young accompanies.
