NOVA Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a second round of Reds, Whites & Brews at 6 p.m. on Aug. 2 at NOVA, 2317 Montana Ave.
This event is a fundraiser for NOVA, a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations and revenue from productions. NOVA’s mission is to enhance the performing arts culture of the Billings region through education, development and performance.
“This year, we will celebrate how far we have come after a successful first season and look ahead to a challenging second one filled with musicals, plays, operas, and improv comedy,” NOVA managing producer Craig Huisenga said.
The event will also support NOVA’s full schedule of conservatory classes and several building-improvement projects.
Reds, Whites, and Brews will feature gourmet food from Abby’s Catering paired with fine wines and beers from Yellowstone Cellars & Winery and Uberbrew. Entertainment for the night will be provided by Venture Improv, headed up by director Kevin Schweigert, sneak previews of the youth conservatory production, “BIG:The Musical,” and music from Susan and Amber Sommerfeld.
Attendees will be able to support NOVA through bidding on auction items that include musical instruments turned into art objects, paintings and prints by accomplished artists, gourmet dinners, and baskets filled with collectible fine art, jewelry, and assorted goodies.
For reservations, go to www.NOVAbillings.org, call 406-591-9535 or visit the NOVA box office at 2317 Montana Avenue. Tickets are $75 per person in advance or $85 after July 24.
