The Apple Gallery at Good Earth Market, 3024 Second Ave. N., presents the opening of “A Visual Feast: Personae of the Opera” by photographer Dennis Kern from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1. Kern will exhibit his photo studies of Rimrock Opera dress rehearsals while the market serves an Italian deli special. Rimrock Opera company singers will be on hand for the opening.

Kern has exhibited internationally and is known as an artist, printmaker, photographer, webmaster, and instructor at Montana State University Billings. He owns Rattlesnake Valley Press and printed “Montana Portraits,” wood engravings of Montana writers by James Todd and “Montana Artists Centennial Portfolio,” hand-printed work by 12 Montana artists.

“A Visual Feast” will be on display through May 28. The photographs are available for sale, with part of the proceeds going to support the Rimrock Opera.
