Rocky to showcase works by 2 senior art students

The final exhibit of the year at Ryniker-Morrison Gallery will be the combined senior show featuring the works of Rocky Mountain College students Lauren Schmitz and Kerry Breining, which runs Dec. 5-13.

The exhibit opens Wednesday with a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. The public is invited.

Schmitz is majoring in art and K-12 art education. She is a Billings native and is completing her student teaching at Skyview High.

Breining is a senior art major from Whitehall. Her media include painting, oil pastel and mixed media. Her show, titled “A Belief in Horses,” explores her passion for horses.

The gallery, located in Tech Hall on the Rocky campus, is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m
