MontanaFair General Manager Bill Dutcher was named president of the group at the Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs annual convention in Colorado Springs, Colorado, last week.
Dutcher has been a member of the board of directors for the fair association for the past six years. He will be oversee the 2018 fair convention, which will be in Billings for the first time since 2011.
MontanaFair/MetraPark Marketing and Sales Coordinator Jamie Porter was named to the association’s board of directors for the first time. Porter, who has been with MontanaFair and MetraPark in her current position since 2013, will fill a one-year term as an at-large director in the association’s northeast district.
The Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs is a nonprofit corporation, chartered in the state of Montana and working in the fair industry for the past 89 years. There are over 150 member fairs in the association, including Arizona, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada, are also part of Rocky Mountain Fairs. Fair performers are also part of the association.
