For any Edward Abbey fans out there, here's a chance to meet the real-life inspiration for the character George Washington Hayduke in Abbey's book, "The Monkey Wrench Gang." Doug Peacock is a Livingston author and the man behind Hayduke. He is speaking at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pictograph Cave State Park as part of the free speaker series. He will be discussing his new book, "In the Shadow of the Sabertooth."
