Craig Lancaster will have two events in Billings this week featuring readings from his new novel, "Edward Adrift."

The first is Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Yellowstone Art Museum's Visible Vault, 505 N. 26th Street. The Writer's Voice is sponsoring the reading.

A night later, at Harper and Madison, 3115 10th Ave. North, Lancaster will host a launch party for the book with musical guests Katy Kemmick and Hannah Habermann. The party begins at 7 p.m., and food and drinks will be available. The public is welcome.

Also Thursday night, Lancaster will appear on Montana Public Radio's "The Write Question." The program airs on Yellowstone Public Radio at 6:30.

"Edward Adrift" revisits the main character from Lancaster's debut novel, "600 Hours of Edward." The first book was a Montana Honor Book and a High Plains Book Award winner. The new book will be released Tuesday.
