The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity will be taught by Billings writers and creative mentors Danell Jones and Anna Paige Feb. 1 through April 26.

The classes will be taught from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at Terakedis Fine Art, 112 N. Broadway.

The cost is $160. Students who bring a friend will receive a 10 percent discount.

"Making our art, we make artful lives,” said Julia Cameron, author of “The Artist’s Way,” a program for artistic renewal and tapping into the creative process.

Using Cameron’s 12-week model, participants will learn techniques to transform their creative life. Participants may want to write that short story, paint a portrait, dance, or sculpt, but perhaps feel that they aren’t good enough, or are too busy.

This class, facilitated Jones and Paige, will introduce techniques and exercises that will help you unblock and embrace your inner creator. The practices in the book develop from a spiritual foundation, which is expansive and transformative to the creative consciousness.

To register, email billingsliteraryarts@gmail.com

Before the class meets, participants need to purchase Julia Cameron’s book, "The Artist’s Way," which is available at This House of Books.
