LOVELL, Wyo. — Bighorn Canyon is in its first year of its Artists in Residence program, which is featuring five visiting artists over the summer.

Lynn Richardson, a local photographer, will be in the park photographing nighttime landscapes at the Lockhart Ranch. He will presents a sunset/moonrise photography presentation at 8:30 p.m. on July 12 at Devil Canyon Overlook.

Visitors and photographers are invited to bring a camera and learn from Richardson.

Karen McLain is focusing on creating paintings of the wild horses. She will be set up throughout the park. On July 19, McLain will be at the Two Eagle Interpretive trail from 4 to 8 p.m. Artists are welcome to come and paint with her and learn about her process.
