"The Elves of Santa's Workshop" is the theme for this year's Holiday Parade on Friday, Nov. 24, in downtown Billings.

The parade, presented by the Downtown Business Alliance, will be preceded by Santa's Dash for Cash, a fun run that will follow the traditional city parade route. Small Business Saturday is Saturday, Nov. 25. It is a day to share in the shopping tradition of Black Friday with a shop local focus for the community. One week later on Friday, Dec. 1, is the Christmas Stroll and the Holiday ArtWalk, which are held downtown from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Holiday Parade will begin at 7 p.m. starting at North 27th Street and Third Avenue North. Santa's Dash for Cash will begin 15 minutes prior to the parade and participants crossing the finish line under Skypoint at North Broadway and Second Avenue North will receive holiday prizes.

On Small Business Saturday, the DBA will announce the winner of their business plan competition, Battle of the Plans. The winners will be awarded with the support and resources to launch their new business in Downtown Billings.

The Christmas Stroll showcases downtown shops and restaurants which will offer holiday specials and evening shopping hours. Participating businesses decorate with holiday lights and offer festive refreshments. The Holiday ArtWalk will feature artwork at participating art galleries and businesses which invite the public to enjoy the art, retail offerings, refreshments, and a festive night with friends and family.

Children are invited to have their pictures taken with Santa during the Christmas Stroll in the lobby of the Northern Hotel at 19 N. Broadway from 4-6 p.m.
