Fishtail Family Fun Day is June 21
FISHTAIL — Duck races, a children’s petting zoo, and a mile-long parade are highlights of the Fishtail Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 21.
Beginning with breakfast at 8 a.m., the day includes the community’s legendary one-mile long parade starting at 11 a.m., featuring old farm trucks and automobiles in a competition of the “oldest, roughest, raunchiest trucks and cars.”
A fishy auction is at 12:30 p..m., followed by the duck race at 1:30.
Kids’ activities and a petting zoo will be held throughout the day at the Fishtail Family Park.
Organizers are requesting any donated items pertaining to fishing. Items can be dropped off at the Cowboy Bar & Supper Club or Muddy Lamb Studio in Fishtail.
Visitors come from all over to enjoy Fishtail’s one-block town nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains. This event is the primary summer fundraiser for the Fishtail Community Council and proceeds are used to maintain the Fishtail Family Park, the Fishtail Community Center and a Scholarship Fund.
