The Montana Dance Center, 131 Moore Lane, is holding its fall open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 14.

The Dance Center currently houses the School of Classical Ballet, Terpsichore, Motion Arts Dance Company and Montana Dance, Inc. At the open house, dance instructors will offer free sample classes, balloons, prizes, informal performances, and a raffle for free registration and one month of free classes.

The loft-like center opened in February 2014, becoming the new home to several dance groups and expanding the studio space of the long-established School of Classical Ballet.

The 6,800-square-foot dance center is outfitted with floors specially designed for dance and full wall mirrors. Parents and visitors can help themselves to the serve-yourself coffee bar.

Parents and other adult dancer can take the adult ballet and modern dance classes offered at the center. Owner Julia Marble envisions Montana Dance Center as a place where students, young and old, gather with a common love of the performing arts.
