LEWISTOWN — The 29th Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering & Western Music Rendezvous is this weekend.
The event, which runs though Sunday, is the second oldest cowboy poetry gathering in the country. One of the featured acts is the Sons of the San Joaquin performing Saturday night.
More than 100 cowboy poets, musicians and artist, and vendors are participating this year. On Friday night, there is a free street dance and the Charlie Russell Dinner Train, which is a ticketed event.
