What: Double chocolate caramel mocha cake.

Where: Jake’s, 2701 1st Ave. N.

Who made it? Kerry Munari Kaiser, dessert chef

What makes it special? Just the word drizzle gets us going. Kaiser drizzles caramel and chocolate on the plate before placing a 7-inch tall, six-layer slice of cake on top. She adds a dollop of whipped cream and a sliver of chilled chocolate. The layers of the cake are baked and frozen before she builds the layers, which are separated with whipped chocolate ganache.
