Mission Mountain Wood Band rocks Pioneer Park

It was a day of nostalgia for the loyal fans of the legendary country-grass-jam band that came out to Pioneer Park for the outdoor concert last Sunday.

Despite the heat and the higher-than-average ticket prices for the Food Bank fundraiser show, a good crowd reveled in the familiar originals and covers that the band played.

While a few people braved the hot sun to dance, most of the crowd enoyed the afternoon from under their umbrellas as they sat scattered on the grassy hillside.

As the sun sank behind the trees, the crowd came up to surround the stage for the final few songs, many singing along with every word.
