Casey's pick

Spring seems to have arrived at long last, which means drinking your favorite brew al fresco. Don't have a favorite Montana beer? Check out the selections at the Montana Brewers Spring Festival on Friday from 5 to 10 p.m. at MetraPark. Tickets are $25 at the gate, which gets you a 9 oz unlimited tasting glass. Food and music are also part of the event, which will feature over 70 different beers.

Jaci's pick

Some of my giddiest moments have been spent jumping up and down to the homegrown bluegrass of Ted Ness and the Rusty Nails. I'm still frustrated that they relocated to Missoula. Well, they're back. Ted Ness Strikes Back fills the late slot on Sunday, April 27, starting at 10 p.m. at the Railyard Ale House, 2526 Montana Ave. Admission is $10. You won't regret being a bit foggy Monday morning.
