Celtic fingerstyle guitarist Jerry Barlow will perform at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 3 in the Billings Public Library community room.

Barlow is a performer and storyteller. His repertoire incorporates traditional pieces as well as his own Celtic-inspired compositions. He performs arrangements of jigs, reels, and other songs.

Barlow’s latest CD, “ ‘Twas the Night: Songs of Christmas,” was released in December 2013. His 2011 recording, “Fields and Fences,” was one of five nominees for Instrumental Album of the Year by the Independent Music Association.

Music from Barlow’s recordings can be heard regularly on National Public Radio stations. He has been featured in Fingerstyle Guitar magazine, and was profiled in the February, 2011, issue of Celtic Connection.
