Foursight: Summer adventures

This week’s FourSight question was answered Tuesday at Rocky Mountain College, where students had just returned to school on Monday. We asked, what was your most memorable summer adventure?

Susan Butz, a junior: I went down to Cody, Wyo., to watch the rodeo on the Fourth of July. We didn’t have a motel room, so we slept in the back of my friend’s truck. It was really windy that night and the lid blew off the truck. I also went horseback riding in the mountains near my home in White Sulphur Springs.

Yancey York, freshman: I went to the Bahamas with a friend, and we stayed with another friend. We hung out a lot and went to the beach.

Aichlinn Trainor, transfer student from Ireland: Coming to the U.S. I arrived last Wednesday, so I have been here a little less than a week. This is nothing like my school in Ireland where there are 13,000 on my campus.

Adam Wilson, transfer student from the United Kingdom: I arrived here on June 4. The biggest surprise for me was the book fees. We don’t pay for books in the U.K.
