Pan Blanco, a new Latin and world beats outfit, will highlight a Cinco de Mayo party on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Yellowstone Valley Brewing Co.’s Garage Pub.

The group is led by Montana State University Billings music professor John Roberts, who plays trombone. Two other locally well-known musicians — standup bass player Parker Brown and guitarist Alex Nauman — are also in the group, along with three percussionists, Bill Honaker, Matt Devitt and Brad Edwards.

Pan Blanco performs salsa, funk, African Rumba, and Boleros. Mexican food, catered by Cocina Villareal and Vivian Villareal, will also be available for purchase.
