2014-06-06T00:15:00Z Foursight: Films that define Montana The Billings Gazette

Montana has been depicted in a few noteworthy films over the years, including “Little Big Man,” “A River Runs Through It,” “Nebraska” and the film adaptation of James Welch’s book, “Winter in the Blood,” which is screening June 21 at 1:30 p.m. in Livingston as part of the How It Works festival. What film do you think best defines Montana?

Matt Eisen: “Horse Whisperer”

Randi Singleton: “I moved from Colorado and ‘A River Runs Through It’ was a big inspiration to be here :-) I never did run into Brad Pitt when I was in Missoula though!”

Shawn Bettise: “El Rancho Deluxe.”

Rachelle Lacy: “Pencils down. ‘The Writer’s Ghost.’”

Kiva Kust: “Can we truly be defined by a movie?”
