Black Label Society is led by guitarist Zakk Wylde. He recently announced the release date of their new LP, “Catacombs of the Black Vatican,” which is due out April 8. In addition to the album art and track listing, the band released their first new single titled, “My Dying Time.”

“Catacombs of the Black Vatican” will be the first all-new full album from Black Label Society since “The Order of the Black” was released in 2009, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

The band’s taste for hard riffs and blazing solos has resulted in a slew of albums and a reputation as a powerful live band.

In addition to his work with Back Label Society, Wylde was Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist for more 20 years. Their collaboration led to a string of multiplatinum albums, including Osbourne’s biggest seller, “No More Tears,” for which Wylde wrote all the music.
