Desja Eagle Tail will be singing for a cause at the Alberta Bair Theater at 7 p.m. on May 23.
Tickets are $20, including discounted rates for Tribal members and students. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, where all the proceeds will stay in Montana and benefit the Shodair Hospital in Helena.
The concert will include soul and blues, paying tribute to greats like Etta James and Aretha Franklin. Backed by a full band, including a horn section, Eagle Tail will perform songs like, “Something’s Got A Hold On Me,” “Natural Woman” and “Chain of Fools.”
“Combining my passion for helping people and performing into one great night of music is a dream for me,” Eagle Tail said. “The families that use Shodair have their children’s health and well-being to think about. I want to help raise money so these families have one less thing to worry about.”
Regionally acclaimed vocalist Eagle Tail has made her mark in Billings using her soulful voice and ambition to coordinate and perform in benefit concerts, including one last fall at Montana State University Billings. Eagle Tail is currently competing for Miss Montana, where her talent, of course, will be singing.
