Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen will perform together at the Alberta Bair Theater at 7:30 p.m. on March 17.

Tickets are $75, $55, $45 and $25. They go on sale at noon Nov. 27 at the ABT box office on the corner of Third Avenue North and North Broadway, by phone at 406-256-6052 or online at www.albertabairtheater.org.

The show is two old friends swapping songs on acoustic guitars like they used to do on Keen’s front porch in College Station, Texas, when they co-wrote “The Front Porch Song,” which both artists later recorded on their respective debut albums.

Since then, they’ve recorded nearly 30 albums between their two careers. Lovett has won four Grammy awards. Both he and Keen have been inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame.
