Mother Mother, an experimental indie-rock band, is set to play the Pub Station in downtown Billings Tuesday, June 30.
Tickets for the all-ages 8 p.m. performance are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
American Songwriter magazine praised the Canadian band’s “complex song structures, intricate three-part (two gals, one dude) harmonies, angular melodic shifts and some of the most satirical lyrics this side of Frank Zappa.”
The band will release its new album, “Very Good Bad Thing,” on April 7.
Mother Mother is on a massive tour hitting New York, L.A., Chicago, Washington D.C. and festival appearances at Sasquatch, Firefly and SummerFest. Touring in support of their upcoming LP, the band’s first release with Def Jam sees Mother Mother expanding its sonic palate to integrate electronic and rock elements.
Mother Mother is not just a Canadian phenom. The band, which features frontman Ryan Guldemond, singer-keyboardist Jasmin Parkin, bassist Jeremy Page, drummer Ali Siadat, and Ryan’s sister, singer-keyboardist Molly Guldemond — has toured the U.S. extensively, including dates with Imagine Dragons and AWOLNATION.
