Name: Lance Rieland

School: Skyview High School

Programs you are involved in: Choir

Explain how your participation in the arts impacted you and your scholastic success: Music, especially choral, has inspired me in many ways. One of the things that it has enabled me to do is express one of the gifts given to me by God. It has also inspired me to constantly work at becoming a more engaged student and musician.

What influence does your field of art have on your future? I plan to use my musical talent to inspire and entertain others for many years to come. I plan to glorify God by leading others in worship and by writing my own music. I will continue to be involved in choir as I attend college.

How has your chosen field of art helped you contribute to your school and community? I have been able to contribute to my school by organizing choir events as the choir department president, as well as entertain my teachers and fellow students. Musical theater has allowed me to provide entertainment to the community as well.
