Sylvia and Michael Hoffman of Billings celebrated their 70th anniversary with an open house and a renewal of vows officiated by the Rev. David Reichling at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.

Sylvia Mastvelten and Michael Hoffman were married Jan. 31, 1947, in Sidney. They worked and farmed in the Savage area until 1956, when he started driving for Greyhound Bus Lines. They lived in Minnesota, North Dakota, Denver and Billings. He retired in 1986, but they still enjoy helping on their farm.

Their children and spouses are Bill and Debbie Hoffman, of Pryor; Diann and Dominique Diatta, Yvonne Bader, and Greg and Evelyn Hoffman, all of Colorado; and Larry and Deb Hoffman, of Florida.

They have 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
