Lloyd and Jeri Sorenson of Billings and Florida celebrated their 70th anniversary at the Island Way Grill in Clearwater Beach, Fla., with family and friends.

Lloyd and Jeri were married on May 6, 1944, in Jefferson City, Mo.

Lloyd was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. In October of 1944, Lloyd was deployed to Europe where he spent 11 months during World War II. After the war, they lived in Minot, Fargo and Enderlin, N.D., moving to Billings in June of 1960.

Lloyd worked in the insurance and real estate businesses. Jeri was affiliated with the College of Coiffure Art for 38 years with her daughters Karen and Kathy.

Their children are Karen Koolen and Kathy Korum. The couple has two grandchildren.
