Donald Maurice Wilson
Donald Maurice Wilson, age 55, of Billings, was called to the Lord on Oct. 18, 2011. He was born in Belle Fourche, S.D., on July 10, 1956, to Maurice and Patricia Wilson. He was the youngest of their five children, Judy Keller, Tom Wilson, Gail Quenzer, and Jack Wilson. In 1978, he met Diane Gountanis in Casper, Wyo., and married her five years later in Billings. They had a long, wonderful marriage of 28 years.
He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Stephanie Wilson, his siblings, and is predeceased by his parents.
His greatest loves in life were Jesus Christ, his wife, his daughter, and his hobbies. Donald’s passion for cars landed him an auto body technician position at Archie Cochrane Ford, and he worked for them for 28 years. During his battle with cancer before his death, his friends and co-workers were more than supportive and showed their love and compassion extensively. A benefit was held by his friends and co-workers and was greatly appreciated. After working a long day at the body shop, Donald loved to come home and go out to his garage to tinker on his cars and other hobby projects. He also loved camping, boating, watching football, tending to his trees and spending time with his daughter.
Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m., at Cremation & Funeral Gallery, located in Billings at 29 8th St. W., by Pastor Denis Pitman. A small reception will be held at the funeral gallery after the service for friends and loved ones. Thank you to all for the support and compassion that Donald received during his illness. It made him very happy to see his friends and loved ones before he passed on.
