MOORHEAD, Minnesota — Charles J. Rouse Jr., 65, Moorhead, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, in Lilac Homes, Moorhead.
Charles Jacob Rouse, Jr., was born April 7, 1952, in Benkelman, NE, to Charles and Grace (Froiland) Rouse. He attended Viborg (SD) High School and graduated from Augustana University, Sioux Falls, SD, in 1974, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Montana, living first in Bozeman, then in Livingston and finally settling in Billings.
Chuck retired from Archie Cochrane Ford in 2012 and in July of 2015 moved to Minnesota to be closer to his family. He thoroughly enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and being a “great” uncle to Abby, Cole and Savannah.
Chuck is survived by his sister, Kathy (Dan) Glood, Fargo, ND; nephew, DJ (Bobbi), great-nephew, Cole and great-niece, Savannah Glood of Carver, MN; and nephew, Greg (Sarah), great-niece, Abby Glood of Fargo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved little brother, Mark.
Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m., with a Celebration of Life at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, in Hope Lutheran Church South Campus in Fargo. Chuck will be buried at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park, Billings.
