David Eugene Reighard was taken home by the Lord after a battle with a rare blood disorder. In 1945, he was born to Willis and Mary Reighard in Billings.
He attended school in Klein, and graduated from high school in Roundup. After graduation, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he met and married Cathy North. Together, they had five beautiful children. While raising his family and working in a bakery for many years, he enrolled in a technical school and earned an Associate’s Degree in Steel Detailing.
Later, he moved back to Roundup and in 1983/1984 he met/married Sharon Craig Young through a niece. Her three daughters combined with his children made a total of eight. He opened his own business in 1985 and was well-known and highly regarded across the nation in the steel fabrication industry. He had an incredible sense of humor and loved his family with all his heart. He coached baseball for his kids, and enjoyed dancing and bowling, was very involved in his church and was a born again Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dorothy Stephens and Buddy (Mary) McMullen, and three granddaughters. He is survived by brothers Jim (Ila) Reighard, Kenny (Miriam) Reighard, Bob (Leona) Reighard, Ron (Judy) Reighard, Stan North, William Craig and sister Mary Dyer; his children Mark (Chari) Reighard, Greg (Liz) Reighard, Stacie (Jerry) Glover, Trish (Bert) Hill, Christopher Reighard, Ronda (Dan) Ruperd, Rosebud (Brian) Seiler, Tim (Carol) Reighard, Sean Reighard, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dave was cherished and will be deeply missed by all.
