Dorothy Jean Clifton, 90, beloved mother and wife, died peacefully in her sleep on Nov. 12, 2017, at the Rosebud Hospital/Nursing Home in Forsyth.
Born Oct. 26, 1927, in Melstone, she is predeceased by her only sibling and sister, Helen Irene Carpenter and their parents, Martha Hazel Houston (Candler), and Jess C. Houston of Musselshell, Montana and her first late husband, Clarence William Krause. She is survived by two children with Clarence Krause, Dennis Lee (Vicki) Krause and Sharon Jane (Orville) Treible and five grandchildren, Sheresa Treible, Winn (Caitlin) Treible, Shawna Plaggemeyer, Sheila (Jeff) Green and Sonya (Mark) Norem. Along with many great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
She is survived by her current husband of 56 years, Edward Lee Clifton of Forsyth, Montana and two children Jodene Lynn Clifton (Kwame) Rainford of Phoenix, Arizona and Brian Keith (Lori) Clifton of Great Falls, Montana along with two grandchildren Alekses and Kylar Clifton.
Dorothy loved to crochet, play pinochle and spend time visiting with her close friends and her large family. She looked forward to taking quiet rides with her husband Ed, watching for animals and gazing at the beautiful Montana scenery. A celebration of her life will occur in the spring.
