George Myers passed away peacefully Sept. 10, 2017, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. George K. Myers was born in Gary, Indiana, on Sept. 26, 1933. When he was 5 years old his family moved to Bozeman, where he lived until 1979.
In 1967, he married his loving wife, Karen, of 50 years. From that union they had two children, son Ray and daughter Monica.
George served in the Navy during the Korean War and, a member of the American Legion, and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was an avid motorcycle rider.
George excelled in several avenues of work and finally, successfully ended up with his own Insurance Agency. Shortly after that his brother joined him in Myers and Myers Insurance Agency, which they were very successful in.
George was preceded in death by his mother Verena and father Ray; and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife Karen; son Ray; daughter Monica; granddaughter Amber; grandson Dalton; brother Lloyd of Great Falls; sister Barbara of Bozeman; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion Diesel.
George will truly be missed by his family and friends.
