BILLINGS — Geraldine “Gerry” Lambert Cross, age 91, passed away at Billings Health and Rehab on July 23, 2014.

Gerry was a cashier for many years at Reiner’s Grocery, and then a homemaker. She loved to play cards, Bingo, and dance, where she met Howard Cross. Married to Bun Phytian, (deceased) a with whom two children were born Richard of Minn., and Linda Bice of Missoula, later married Warren Nelson (deceased) and then found Howard Cross also deceased.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Lambert and Genrose Dwyer Lambert; and her two children, Richard and Linda. Most recently Linda (Rick) in May, whom she lived with in Missoula for fourteen years. She adored her daughter, and it absolutely broke her heart, and one granddaughter Debra from Minnesota.

She is survived by her sister Jean Lambrecht, nieces Conee (Roy) Johns, Chris (Terry) Johns, and Lori (John) Schweigert. Her son in law, Rick Bice of Missoula; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, at Smith West Chapel, located at 304 34th Street West. Visitation held prior to services. Interment to follow at Mountview Cemetery. Gerry will be buried next to her parents.

Donations can be made to Crossroads Wing of Billings Health and Rehab to their incredible nurses, Charlotte, Teresa and Becky and to the c-n-a’s that loved her. All of you were amazing.
