WOLF POINT — Ingebor Christina Albertson, age 93, of Wolf Point, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, of natural causes, at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point. Ingebor was born May 1, 1911, to John and Sallie Hegland in Perry, Wis. She grew up and attended schools there.

She married Ernest Albertson on Nov. 25, 1929, in Daleyville, Wis., and lived in Wisconsin for two to three years, then lived in North Dakota for a time, moved to Sunburst in the 1940s and lived there until 1961, when she moved to Wolf Point, where she has lived ever since. Ingebor enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and flowers. She spent many years caring for children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ingebor was a member of the First Lutheran Church and loved her God and her neighbor.

Ingebor is survived by four sons, Vernus of Manhattan, James of Wolf Point, Dwayne of Forsyth and LeRoy of Mechanicsville, Va.; four daughters, Darleen Dupler of Walla Walla, Wash., Marian Vornbrock of Taber, Alberta, Canada, Dorothy Whyte of Kenosha, Wis., and Sharon Hoffman of Wolf Point; one sister, Anna Gilbertson of Manning, S.C.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 71 years, Ernest; two daughters, Leona Fyfe and Mae Albertson; a son, Robert Albertson; six brothers, Garfield, Andrew, Isaac, Edward, Sever and Amos Hegland; three sisters, Julia Johnson, Selma Martinson and Doris Evenson; and one granddaughter, Christi Dupler.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials to Ingebor are suggested to First Lutheran Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at or Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
