Jacquelyn “Jackie” Taylor, age 86, passed away at her home on Sunday evening, July 13, 2014, under the care of Rocky Mountain Hospice.

She was born July 22, 1927, in Decatur, Ill., a daughter of Ken and Pearl (Clem) Sturgeon. She was raised and educated in Butte. Jackie met Richard Taylor in Billings and married on June 20, 1966. Jackie worked with Richard at their business, Billings Ambulance and Oxygen Service. Jackie had a great passion for flowers and collections including orchids, humming birds and “Garfield” the cartoon character.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Pearl Sturgeon; children Brian “Rusty,” Robert Rae and Sherry Lee Loveridge; siblings Jim, Donald, Robert and Joan Loveridge.

Survivors include her husband Richard Taylor; children Pamela Shaffer of Billings, Terry Dinh (Sam) of Las Vegas, Rick Loveridge (Adriene) of Billings, Richard “Tiger” Taylor of Las Vegas; sister Mary Howell of Great Falls; daughter-in-law Rose Loveridge of Mesa, Ariz.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jackie has requested no formal services. Memorials can be sent to the Billings Boys and Girls Club.
