John Earl Adams, 50, of St. Anthony, passed away Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho from complications of cancer.

John was born April 29, 1964, in Lovell, Wyo., to J.W. “Bill” Adams and Winifred Ruth Avery Adams. He grew up in Lovell, Wyo., and St. Anthony, Idaho and graduated from South Fremont High School and Arizona Automotive Institute in Phoenix.

On June 6, 1987, he married Debbie Niendorf in St. Anthony. They lived in St. Anthony and Egin Idaho, and have three children, Jamie, Nickolas and Cassie.

Throughout his life he worked as a mechanic, a machinist, and a truck driver for Madison County. He was a member of the Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding his Harley with his biker brothers and sisters, and anything automotive, and time with his friends riding ATVs or around a campfire. He always had an infectious smile and a hug for a friend.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Adams of St. Anthony; his mother, Winifred Adams Campbell of Powell, Wyo.; his children, Jamie Adams, Nickolas Adams and Cassie Adams all of St. Anthony, Idaho.; Courtney (Eric) Knoop, Delano, Minn., and newest family member exchange student, Laura YoungSeo Park of Seoul, South Korea; sisters, Judy (Jay) Clark of Ralston, Wyo., Linda (Bill) Miller of Cowley, Wyo. and Kris (Rick) Lucus, Powell, Wyo. Mother-in-law, Christine Scott, St. Anthony and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. “Bill” Adams and an infant son, Kevin Adams.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony. A picnic lunch at Keefer Memorial Park will follow. Family suggest donations in John’s name to
