CROW AGENCY - Kathy Lynn Old Horn Arcoren Ishbaalahká peitchish "Good Cedar Smoke" quietly passed away in her sleep and went to the Other Side Camp on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008. She was the daughter of Lloyd Allen Old Coyote and Brenda Bull Shows Fighter.

Miss Lynn, as she was affectionately known to her family, lived an unsurpassing and humble life. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren, and by all of her family - both immediate and extended, because she was so supportive of all of their activities. Kathy attended Hardin High School and United Tribes Technical College. She traveled many miles to support her brothers, sisters and their children as they played in interscholastic sports. She was very proud of all of them. Her son, Marv, made her equally proud as he excelled in basketball and football. Kathy loved to cook for anyone who came through her door. She was known for her ability to cook for large family gatherings, and always offered to take food wherever she went. She spent hours getting her brothers and children outfitted so they could play in the Crow hand game tournaments. As a young girl, she danced at pow wow to honor her paternal grandparents. But above it all the center of her world was her grandchildren.
