Nancy S. Mitchell passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, Aug. 26, 2014, after a long battle with auto-immune hepatitis.

She was born in Pamona, Calif., on Dec. 1, 1954. She was a loyal person and a woman of faith who loved to dance. She has been a resident of Montana for eight years.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Mitchell, where they owned a small ranch and many animals. This lifestyle was a dream of hers since a young girl. She has also survived by sisters, Betty (Richard) Morgan and Patricia Boring; daughters, Tammy Ramirez, Jamie (Edmundo) Suarez; and in-laws, Dana (Charlie) Gairrett, Kelly (Laurie) Mitchell; and 10 grandchildren, Junior, Anjel, Seth, Ashley, Zack, Trey, Treston, Dustin, David, and Del. They all loved her dearly and called her “Nana.”

She will always be loved and never be forgotten. At her request, we will be having a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. at the Mitchell Ranch, Saturday Aug. 30.

Perhaps my time was all too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now; he has set me free.
