Natalie Sundberg Goulding, wife of Allan L. Goulding Jr., died Nov. 7, 2017, at the Billings Clinic Hospital, after a short illness. She was born April 7, 1922 in New York City and was 95. Natalie attended Temple and Cornell Universities, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in nursing education. She married Allan L. Goulding Jr. in 1944 and moved to Billings in 1949. Her husband predeceased her in 2009.

During her years in Billings, she served as President of the Billings Deaconess Hospital Pink Ladies, President of the Yellowstone Valley Medical Auxiliary, President of the Yellowstone Arts Association, and member of the Symphony Associates. Mrs. Goulding served as a Public Health Nurse with the Yellowstone Public Health Department from 1970 to 1985. During this time, she was Director of the Maternal Infant Health Program and was a member of the Child Abuse Team. She was an Elder in the Presbyterian Church and a member of the Women’s Association and the Association of American University Women. Natalie also was the Librarian of the Mission Ridge Library.

Natalie’s interests included watercolor painting, birding, gardening, reading, traveling and being with her family and dogs.

Surviving members of the family are daughter, Christine Dryden and her husband Gerald of Corydon, Indiana, grandson Cory and Markisha Dryden and great-grandchildren, Amaya and Kai. Granddaughter, Megan and husband Michael Kiktavy Grandson, Joel Dryden and his wife Andrea , as well as their children Ezra and Zeke. Son, Allan Lee Goulding III, wife Kathy of Davis, California, and grandsons, Brian and Daniel. Son Jeffry Goulding and wife Georgann of New Windsor, New York, and grandson Jeffrey Betters and his wife Valerie and their children Courtney, Amaya, and Coleman. Also left behind is a very special friend, Vince Conrad, who was her companion at Mission Ridge and fellow librarian.

Cremation has taken place. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Mission Ridge, main building, 3840 Rimrock Road.
