Ruth Knopp Kuyatt, 92, of Billings died early on Sunday Oct. 8, 2017, at Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings.
Ruth was born on March 4, 1925, to David and Maria (Daschendorf) Knopp near Ashley, North Dakota. They moved to Richey, in 1928, the, Powell, Wyoming, in 1935, where she graduated from high school in 1943, and then moved to Tacoma, Washington.
She worked as a secretary for SeaTac Shipyards, Yellowstone Hatchery, Bureau of Reclamation, U.S.F.&G. Insurance, and Billings Fire Department.
She married Harry Kuyatt, a farmer, near Worden, on Dec. 22, 1951. They left the farm for Seely Lake and Billings.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Harry; her parents; brother Jake Knopp; sister Leotina Kessell; brother-in-law Rudy Kessel; sisters-in-law Alice Pope, Edna McDougle and Esther Hamer
She is survived by her son, Allen (Debra), grandson Eric, granddaughter Sarah, of Arvada, Colorado; son Roger, granddaughters Melissa and Carolyn of Conifer, Colorado; sister Helena Sheets of Drummond; and nieces and nephews.
Ruth rededicated her life to The Lord in November 1971 for a much better life.
She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, church family, other friends, crafts, sewing, and her many flowers at home and at church.
A Viewing will be from 2-5 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 12, at Cremation and Funeral Gallery. Funeral Services will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 13, at Trinity Nazarene Church, 25 Hilltop Road.
